After Hours
When your child is sick, it’s nice for her to be seen in an office that’s familiar, and to be evaluated by a provider who she knows and who knows her. We know that many symptoms arise in the early hours of the morning and the late hours of the afternoon, and we try our best to be available so that those symptoms can be evaluated in our office. We want you to know that we are open for sick visits during the following times:
Monday-Friday
7:30am – 7:30pm
Saturday
9:00am – 12:00noon
If your child is sick and the office is not open, please call us at 282-4205. One of our providers is always on call, and discussing your child’s symptoms can help to determine how best to treat his symptoms and when he should be seen.
“The physician should be known to the child and family and should be able to develop a partnership of mutual responsibility and trust with them. These characteristics define the “medical home.” In contrast to care provided in a medical home, care provided through emergency departments, walk-in clinics, and other urgent-care facilities, though sometimes necessary, is more costly and often less effective.”
